Move-In & Move-Out Cleaning in Central Michigan

A detailed cleaning plan for the home you are leaving or the one you are about to make your own.

Start with the space and the result you need.

An empty home makes details visible: residue inside a cabinet, buildup around a tub, dust on door frames and marks along baseboards. Moving also creates a deadline. SWAT Team of Michigan coordinates move-in and move-out cleaning around the property's condition, access and handover date. Homeowners, renters and property managers can start with the rooms, priorities and date they need the property ready. The office confirms a realistic scope before scheduling.

Kitchen surfaces and storage

Discuss counters, sinks, cabinet fronts and empty cabinet interiors. Oven and refrigerator interiors, drawers and the spaces behind appliances must be identified in the estimate. Agree who empties, disconnects or moves appliances; access is part of the plan.

Bathrooms and fixtures

Identify tubs, showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors and accessible trim. Heavy soap residue or mineral buildup may require more time than a routine visit. Cleaning cannot restore a damaged coating, failed grout or deteriorated caulk.

Rooms, edges and hard floors

Plan reachable vents, ledges, doors, switches, baseboards and suitable hard-floor surfaces. Specify interior glass, tracks or other details separately. Carpet cleaning is not offered; floor refinishing and repairs have their own scope.

The handover checklist

Share the landlord's or property manager's checklist before the estimate. Identify which rooms will be empty and which items remain. Junk removal, packing and repairs are separate services that can be discussed in the same conversation.

Plan the visit before the crew arrives.

Set the sequence before setting the date

A final clean generally follows moving, repair and dusty trade work. Confirm when the last belongings leave, when contractors finish and when the next occupant receives access. If rooms must be cleaned in stages, tell the office which areas can be completed without being disturbed again.

Use condition and priorities to plan labor

Square footage alone does not describe a move-out clean. An empty, maintained apartment differs from a home with grease, heavy buildup or items still in place. Photos and a walkthrough help the office plan the work. Review labor rates, minimums and any accepted spending limit before booking.

Review the agreed work at completion

Arrange access and identify the person who can approve changes and review the result. If you are coordinating from out of town, agree updates and any photographs in advance. The service addresses the approved cleaning scope; a landlord or buyer makes their own acceptance decisions.

Clear answers

Before you arrange this clean

Does the home have to be empty?

An empty property usually gives better access, but an occupied or partly packed home can be assessed. Identify remaining furniture and belongings so the office can scope reachable areas and agree what must be moved before the visit.

Are the oven, refrigerator and cabinets included?

Only when included in the agreed scope. Specify interior cleaning and confirm that shelves and storage areas will be empty. Moving or disconnecting an appliance is not an automatic part of cleaning it.

Will move-out cleaning guarantee my security deposit is returned?

No. The landlord's decision can include damage, lease terms and other matters beyond cleaning. Share the inspection checklist so the cleaning work can be planned against the items within SWAT's scope.

Can you clean before a same-day handover?

Tell the office the exact deadline before scheduling. Condition, access and crew availability determine whether the requested work fits. An inquiry does not reserve a crew or guarantee a completion time.

Start with your contact details and service ZIP. The office confirms your address, scope and availability before booking.
