Pet hair collects where a routine vacuum does not reach: along baseboards and stair edges, inside floor vents and returns, under and behind furniture, on upholstered surfaces, and in the dust on ledges and fan blades. In a home with shedding pets, or one being handed over after pets, those areas need detail work. SWAT Team of Michigan plans pet hair cleaning room by room so the time goes to the places where hair actually builds up.
Vents, returns and ledges
Remove hair and dust from accessible vent covers, return grilles, window sills, ledges, door tops and ceiling fan blades. Duct cleaning inside the system is specialist work and is not included.
Furniture surfaces and hard-to-reach areas
Detail hard furniture surfaces and, where agreed and accessible, move light furniture to clean beneath and behind it. Upholstered surfaces can be vacuumed; deep fabric cleaning is not offered.
Pet areas
Clean around feeding stations, crate and bed areas and pet doors. Litter areas and accidents with urine or feces are assessed separately, and lingering pet odor is covered by our odor removal service.

Say how many pets, which rooms they use, and where they will be during the visit. Pets should be secured away from the work area so the crew can open doors and move freely.
Separate hair from odor
Hair removal and odor treatment are different jobs. If the home has a urine or musty pet smell, mention it so the estimate includes odor assessment rather than assuming cleaning alone will remove it.

Routine vacuuming of carpet, rugs and upholstered surfaces can be included. We do not offer carpet or upholstery extraction, so deeply embedded hair in fabric may need a carpet-cleaning specialist.
Will pet hair cleaning remove pet odor?
Removing hair and dust helps, but urine and lingering pet odors usually need source-specific treatment. Our odor removal service assesses those separately.
Can you clean while my pets are home?
Yes, if they are secured away from the rooms being cleaned. Tell the office about your pets when you book so the crew knows what to expect.
Do you handle pet hair at move-out?
