A clear plan for your property
Janitorial service keeps everyday cleaning tasks on a repeatable schedule. Start with the areas people use each day: the entrance, shared workspaces, staff rooms and restrooms. SWAT works with your facility contact to agree a checklist, access window and visit frequency. A building that needs heavier buildup removed first may need an initial reset before routine upkeep begins. The broader commercial-cleaning service covers those one-time projects and other facility needs; this page focuses on the ongoing visit plan.
The office confirms your address, scope, pricing and crew availability. An inquiry does not reserve an appointment.
Surfaces to discuss
- Accessible desks, counters and shared office surfaces agreed with your staff
- Restroom sinks, toilets, mirrors, partitions and hard floors
- Break-room counters, sinks and other agreed shared surfaces
- Sweeping and mopping suitable hard floors in entrances and common areas
- Door handles, switches and other frequently handled surfaces on the checklist
Agree the method before the visit
Bring the room list, approximate size, restroom fixture counts, floor materials and operating hours to the walk-through. Identify tasks your own staff handle, desks or rooms that must remain untouched, and who can approve changes. Separate the work needed each visit from periodic detail work such as machine floor scrubbing. Agree access and secure handling of entry information directly with the office. Visit frequency, work windows, pricing and any supply arrangements belong in the written plan; an inquiry does not book a recurring slot.
Clear answers
Frequently asked questions
How is janitorial cleaning different from a commercial deep clean?
Janitorial cleaning is the agreed routine repeated across scheduled visits. A commercial deep clean addresses a defined buildup or larger reset. If the building needs both, the office can scope the initial work separately from ongoing upkeep so the recurring checklist stays clear.
Can visits happen outside business hours?
Tell us when staff and visitors use the building and which areas need a quiet or restricted work window. The office confirms an available schedule, access arrangements and any preparation before service begins; no particular time slot is guaranteed by this page.
What belongs on every visit, and what is periodic?
Restroom upkeep, agreed work surfaces and routine hard-floor care may be part of each visit. More detailed floor work, high surfaces and other occasional tasks need their own frequency and allowance. Review the checklist with the office as traffic or building use changes.
Are supplies or specialty cleaning included?
Paper products, soap restocking and other supplies must be agreed separately. Carpet and upholstery cleaning are not offered. Repairs, hazardous-material work and communicable-disease remediation are outside this janitorial scope. Any sanitizing or disinfecting treatment must be specifically agreed for the surface; routine cleaning does not promise a germ-free building.
Where can I request a janitorial program?
SWAT serves Central Michigan. Use the service-area guide to review the existing communities, then provide your facility's city and ZIP code. The office confirms address coverage, scope and crew availability before agreeing a program.
